Piedmont Imaging is conveniently located in the heart of Spartanburg at 684 North Pine Street. We have been a staple resource for outpatient radiology for over 20 years. We proudly serve patients throughout the upstate and also accommodate those traveling from North Carolina areas such as Polk County, Rutherford County and Cherokee County.
Our quality imaging services include 3T High Field MRI, High Field Open MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X-ray at a third of the cost compared to other radiology facilities. We accept all major insurance, provide good-faith estimates and offer payment plans to help ensure the most affordable options for patients.
Onsite board-certified radiologist, seasoned clinical staff and management team members are dedicated to customer service, patient safety and overall excellence in diagnostic imaging care. We are truly invested in our community, ensuring our services encompass quality and convenience at an affordable rate.
Our imaging center provides community-based onsite radiology staffing during primary business hours to ensure an accurate, quick turnaround on reports and easier consultation between the referring physician and reading radiologist. Radiologists are fellowship trained and reports are delivered to the referring provider within 24-48 hours of their patient’s appointment.
The radiologists who read images taken at this center are not employees of this center or employees of this center’s manager. Rather, they are independent contractors. That means they have their own liability insurance, and neither this center nor this center’s manager is responsible for the radiologists’ actions or controls their medical decision-making.

REFERRING PHYSICIANS:
We are open and accepting patients for all studies, including routine and elective exams. In accordance with the CDC and American College of Radiology recommendations, we continue to screen patients. Please contact our radiology team with any questions; we are happy to discuss your patient’s care.
PATIENTS:
We continue to practicing enhanced screening, cleaning protocols and social distancing.
The health and safety of our patients and staff are our highest priorities. Masking at this facility is currently optional for patients and employees. If you are feeling sick or exhibiting any COVID symptoms, we ask that you wear a mask.
Please consider rescheduling if you have a cough, fever and/or shortness of breath or if you have been in close contact with someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 in the past 10 days.
Visitors are allowed on an as-needed basis. We ask that patients limit their accompanying visitors to one.
Parents/guardians/caregivers are allowed to accompany a minor or any patient with special needs.
